Just released: Firefox 2.0 RC1

While browsing the Mozilla FTP server, I discovered a release candidate of Mozilla Firefox 2.0. Better graphics and worth using.

Review: Windows Vista RC1

Today I installed Windows Vista RC 1 (build 5600) on my Dell Inspiron 6400. This version of Vista is much faster than the previous Beta 2. Even the Windows Experience Index is higher, without changing the hardware. Aero now works by default, including the flip 3D feature. Really cool.

Graphical User Interfaces that did not work in the former versions, now do work fine. It looks like Microsoft is finishing up Vista for November. The help still is not finished, so this RC 1 will not become RTM.
