Today I have received a free XBox 360 from Microsoft because I completed one of their monthly quality pulse surveys for the ISV Empower program.

Thank you Microsoft.

Tomorrow I will quickly buy The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with a rating of 9.6 on GameSpot and enjoy my day off.

Release: VMware Server 1.0

After a succesfull beta phase, VMware released the final version of VMware Server 1.0 build 28343. The software is a free and more mature GSX Server with the following features:

  • Runs on any standard x86 hardware

  • Can be managed by VMware VirtualCenter to efficiently provision, monitor and manage infrastructure from a central management console , but also has its own web interface

  • Opens VMware or Microsoft virtual machine format and Symantec LiveState Recovery images with VM Importer
