Fedora Core 5 to be released

Monday 20, 2006 the final version of Fedora Core 5 will be released to the public. The source is already available on some ftp mirrors.Some new features since Fedora Core 4 are:

  • New theme and new logo
  • Gnome 2.14 and KDE 3.5
  • Advanced desktop interfaces based on OpenGL.
  • Gnome user share capability
  • Suspend to RAM support
  • Mono support
  • Xen 3.0 integrated
  • and more..
